John has been an industry leader in the Specialty Insurance Program space since 1988 and has been successful in identifying markets that are under served. John has been granted underwriting authority from multiple carriers on GL/ Umbrella of limits up to $10mm and property limits of up to $200mm. John will actively oversee the application and underwriting process to assure conformity of underwriting guidelines and processes.  John has been successful in adding value added services to specialty programs by having Loss Control Inspectors whom he has trained for each particular market segment thus identifying the best insureds for his Programs. 

Ben Lambert joined the GSA team in 2017, and has worked in the insurance industry since 2014.  Ben became Partner of GSA in 2020, and is continually looking forward to growing the GSA team..  His favorite part of working at GSA is helping his clients manage risk, and being there for them when the unthinkable happens.  His care for his clients, and attention to detail are why the people and businesses that he serves continue to do business with GSA.   Outside of insurance, Ben enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar with the Old Camp Church Worship Band, and other various music groups in West Georgia.  Ben also enjoys volunteering with The Recovery Spot of West Georgia, where he serves as Co-Chairman, and Danwbreakers Rotary Club, where he is Past-President

Curt brought fresh talent to  Great Southern in early 2016, from his role as a professional in the golf industry.  His  "listen and assess" skillset enables him to understand the unique needs business owners encounter.  His primary focus is providing excellent placement of coverage for our commercial clients.  

Cianna Jones joined the GSA team in October 2023 and has a rapidly expanding interest for the insurance industry, and a love for the agency that feels like family. Cianna looks forward to growing with GSA for years to come. Her favorite part of working at GSA is getting to the bottom of any questions that may arise in order to create a better understanding for all clients. Outside of the office Cianna enjoys spending all of her time going on adventures and making lasting memories with her husband, children and doggies.

​Kalie Mullins joined the GSA team in April of 2023 as the Accounting Specialist. She obtained her degree in accounting in 2021 but has been working in the world of finance since 2018. She has played a pivotal role in enhancing the internal processes at GSA and brings meticulous attention to detail and financial expertise to the table. Kalie enjoys the work she does in supporting the agents, clients, and all other agency aspects here at GSA. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and her two pugs.

​Gracie joined the Great Southern Agency team in June 2024. Since graduating from Mississippi State University, she has continued expanding her knowledge in the industry, specializing in commercial insurance and outdoor-related business insurance. Gracie enjoys building relationships with clients and tackling new challenges each day. Outside of insurance, she loves spending time with her husband, family, friends, and Labrador Retriever, Tux. She also enjoys hunting, attending Mississippi State football games, watching The Office, and spending weekends at her family’s lake house.

Marina joined GSA in 2024, with a strong passion to professionally develop in the insurance industry.

She is always eager to learn, grow, and expand her knowledge. Approaching every challenge as an opportunity to build new skills & provide the best possible service to our clients. She enjoys helping others, whether it’s assisting clients with their needs, or offering support to the team. Outside of work, Marina loves to travel and explore new places, cook new recipes, or volunteer at local animal shelters.

Angel Harper Worthy joined the GSA team in August of 2024 as the Office Manager. She brings her 20+ years of experience as an insurance agent and deep knowledge of the industry to Great Southern Agency. Angel looks forward everyday to leading the account manager team to success. She plays a pivotal role in the office in ensuring the support our customers receive is top notch, all while ensuring the agents and account management team have the best tools for success. When she’s not running the office she can be found spending time outside making memories and chasing her yard full of grandbabies around.

Amelia Orr joined the Great Southern Agency team in March 2025 and quickly immersed herself in the world of insurance. As a dedicated member of the customer service team, Amelia is committed to making every client interaction smooth, positive, and stress-free. She brings bright energy and genuine enthusiasm to the office each day, always striving to learn and grow in order to better support both clients and the GSA team.
Outside the office, Amelia enjoys spending time with her family on their farm, hanging out with her Chocolate Lab, Nash, and caring for the many stray animals she encounters—often bringing a few new friends’ home with her.
